We are delighted to announce that the Transition Free Press is going ahead ! This is our opportunity to ‘become the media’ and the TFP will represent a milestone for the developing transition movement in the UK.
So this is a big thank you to all the people and initiatives who have signed up to become part of our wonderful new distribution network (and those of you still deciding). Here’s to all Transitioners in:

Our next step is to launch our crowd-funding campaign to pay for printing and contributor costs. Keep an eye out for this exciting 3 month campaign with BuzzBnk, starting in mid-November. All contributions welcome.
Meanwhile we have already begun designing and commissioning the next issue which will come out on February 1 2013.. This month we will be road-testing the local news template, so if you are part of the network and would like to help with this do get in touch. We are also open to the following:

Hooray!!!… after relishing ‘The Map is not the Territory’ and passing it on to whomever I thought was in need of reading it, the thought of not having easy access to something you’ll be editing — and writing in I hope — was almost too much to bear.
